Inside an electrode’s pores
Four scans at four scales: a whole Vulcan XC / PTFE electrode layer and its native pore network (X-ray), a PtCu catalyst nanoparticle and the interior of a Pt / Ketjenblack support (electron tomography). They are different samples, compared on one length scale. Every surface is drawn at its scan’s own resolution and coloured by the largest sphere that fits there. The same view lives in the electrode designer under View → Microstructure.

Each choice is a separate analysis of the same scan. Compare them before trusting any one number.

Load and render measurements
Measured live in this browser for the scale in view. Load times include decoding; frame times need auto-rotate on, and are capped by the display refresh rate.
