Violations are claims our physics-constraint checker flagged as impossible. Opportunities are parameter combinations our priors predict will work but no paper has tried. Anomalies are statistical outliers — either errors or breakthroughs. Click any card to see the source paper.

  • Each violation is strictly revalidated against the extracted values before display.
  • Strict revalidator drops upstream flags whose strict inputs (e.g. cell voltage for V·I) are unavailable or whose magnitude ratio falls within reporting tolerance.
  • Bayesian z-score on Violation cards is diagnostic only — not used to gate flags.
  • Outliers column uses the *predictive* z = (x − μ) / √(τ² + σ_within²) on the hierarchical-priors-v1 posterior, system-class-specific when n_papers ≥ 8 else global pooled.
  • Outliers exclude papers already in Violations or Anomalies to avoid double-counting.
  • Opportunities are (system × substrate × anode × scale) combinations fewer than 3 papers have tried, predicted from the system's areal power-density prior shifted by the anode's corpus-wide effect; shown only when the prediction reaches the system's 70th percentile.
